Tour Sites of the Four Corners

Our popular tour sites include:

Hovenweep

This site consists of a wide sunken basin fed by small springs and surrounded by ancient towers. Hovenweep most likely served as a combined oasis, way-station and trading center, linking the many Anasazi villages in Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado. Its remoteness long made Hovenweep a mystery until more recent study recognized both the expanse of Anasazi occupancy in the Four Corners region and the mobility of the Anasazi suggesting a greater connectedness between the many villages of the Anasazi cultural phenomena.
