The Lile Brothers, Co-Founders, Native Path Tours

Chip and Chris Lile, business partners and natives of Durango, CO have a unique brotherly bond. Growing up in the Four Corners Area, Chip and Chris were exposed to outdoor life, Native American culture, and visits to local archeological sites at a very early age. Their interest for these topics has only grown stronger as they have gotten older. With the shared passion for Native American culture, Chip and Chris, along with expert, guide, and partner Carey N. Vicenti, are absolutely dedicated to intelligently and accurately interpreting the wonders that make Southwest Colorado so unique.

Chip Lile graduated from Fort Lewis College in 1994 with a B.A. in Engineering Management from the School of Business. His experiences in business include computer engineering, and small business ownership, but his real passions lie in outdoor pursuits, international and domestic travel, and of course the culture of Southwestern Native Americans. When not traveling he owns and operates a small bar and hotel with his partner Chris.

Chris Lile graduated from Fort Lewis College in 1996 with a B.A. in History and Education. Chris worked as a teacher for both the 9R School District of Durango and the Southern Ute Tribe. His passion for the world of the Anasazi and the ruins in this region is incredibly contagious. He currently resides in Durango with his wife and three kids. When they aren’t exploring the ruins, riding motorcycles, or visiting historical locations they are working the family farm the Lile brothers grew up on.
